About the Role

We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to help with a variety of tasks, enabling our leadership team to focus on building the future of digital humans. This is an operational position, supporting our Chief Business Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

Initially, this role will lean heavily toward executive assistant and operational support — handling communication with lawyers, running payroll, email triage/scheduling, and other foundational tasks that make everything else possible. As we grow (and as you grow), the role may expand into more strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives.

This is a high-trust, hands-on role for someone hungry to learn the ins and outs of an early-stage company, comfortable wearing many hats, and eager to contribute wherever needed.

What you'll do

• Handle essential admin: scheduling, inbox management, document prep, and follow-ups

• Coordinate with external partners (lawyers, accountants, vendors, etc) to move processes forward without bottlenecks

• Own recurring company tasks — payroll runs, expense tracking, compliance filings, and other “heartbeat” operations

• Identify areas for operational improvement across teams

• Step into special projects, cross-team coordination, and leadership support beyond day-to-day admin

• Assist with office admin and onsite visitor / candidate support as needed

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in a fast-paced startup or similar environment

• MBA or experience in an operational-forward role

• Extremely high attention to detail, organization, and follow-through

• Low ego, service-oriented mindset: no task is too small + you take pride in making things work

• Strong communication instincts: you write clearly, handle sensitive information discreetly, and represent leadership professionally

• Ability to thrive in ambiguity — when there’s no playbook, you make one
