I’m excited to open this position because it is a critical role in our journey to build the future of heart health. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll need to bring an ownership and hard-work mentality, because your results will be critical to our sales team’s success. Your day to day will combine closing new patients and channel partners while advancing the strategy and operations required to scale our services.

Who is Miga?

  • Miga is a virtual heart health clinic that treats obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes, using medications and intensive dietary and fitness interventions. The care is augmented by connected devices and a patient mobile app.

  • Cardiovascular disease is responsible for 1 in 3 deaths. What’s crazy is that 80% of premature heart attacks and strokes are preventable, so the opportunity for improvement is astounding.

  • Our founders are purpose-driven and values-aligned, and we will spend a good portion of our interview process trying to understand where your values lie. We strive everyday to build a culture where people aren’t afraid to ask the hard questions, challenge the unacceptable, and always think about how patients will feel.

  • We’re in that fun phase of rapid experimentation and growth, which means we’re looking for people who are comfortable with ambiguity, change, and uncertainty.

What’s the bottom line/tldr?

  • Early-stage digital health company, have raised a $12 million seed round.

  • Jarrad and Dre (Co-Founders) are seasoned operators who’ve built and grown companies before.

  • Founders believe in sales as instrumental to the company's success.

  • Starting to grow our sales team by hiring a Sales Development Representative.

  • On-target earnings: $60,000 - $75,000

  • Must be ready to jump in as a scrappy contributor, working the phones to close patients and prospecting and activating medical practices as referral sources.

What will I do?

  • Complete 30+ hours per week of qualifying conversations with prospective patients to book their first clinical consultation.

  • Drive new business through inbound and outbound opportunity generation with prospective patients.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed notes on calls and conversations.

  • Outreach to medical practices to articulate the value of Miga and set-up demos.

  • Develop and manage a sales forecast and pipeline reports, providing regular insights to the sales manager.

What is Miga looking for?

  • We’re looking for a dynamic, collaborative, and results-driven person to join our A+ team as a Sales Development Representative – someone to accelerate our vision to build the future of heart health.

  • Expected qualifications include:

    • 1-3 years of experience in a sales role within a consumer of healthcare environment.

  • Nice to have but not required:

    • Experience interacting with patients

    • Prior sales experience with medical practices or health systems, including knowledge of stakeholders, policies, and decision-making protocols.

  5. A written exercise and 45-minute discussion focused on values with Jarrad and Kristen.
