Role Overview:

As a Backend iOS Developer - Server Side at SUMA Wealth, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the server-side components of our iOS applications. You will work closely with our product and design teams to implement robust, efficient, and scalable backend solutions that support our mission to empower the Latinx community through innovative financial tools and engaging content.

Required Skills:

● Proficient in Swift, with a strong understanding of its ecosystems and object-oriented programming.

● Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Vapor Framework, and Swift Package Manager.

● Good knowledge of performance limits, characteristics, and memory management.

● Experience with multi-threading, embedded databases, and other system datastores.

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to backend services.

● Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests.

● Familiarity with continuous integration.

Additional Desired Skills:

● Good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus.

● Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is a plus.

● Knack for benchmarking and optimization.

● Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

● Expert communication in English is a plus.
