Role Overview:
As a Senior Account Manager at SUMA Wealth, you will be instrumental in managing and nurturing high-value relationships with our business clients. You will lead efforts to understand their strategic needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure the highest level of satisfaction and retention all while playing a key role in driving the growth of our organization. Your expertise will help expand our reach and deepen our impact on the Latinx community by leveraging our innovative financial tools and engaging content.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders at B2B client organizations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, addressing their strategic needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
Advanced Account Strategy and Planning:
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive account plans to achieve client objectives and drive business growth.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell SUMA's services to existing clients.
Digital Media Strategy and Content Distribution:
- Calculate media spend for potential client RFPs remaining informed of shifts in media spending data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create and distribute culturally relevant content that resonates with the Latinx community.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize digital revenue and ad sales.
Client Onboarding and Strategic Support:
Oversee the onboarding process for new high-value clients, ensuring a seamless
transition and integration of SUMA’s solutions.
Provide ongoing strategic support and training to clients to maximize the value they derive from our platform.
Performance Monitoring and Strategic Reporting:
- Manage and maintain all client projects remaining on time and on budget.
- Track and report on key account metrics, providing detailed updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze account performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for strategic improvement.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, product development, engineering) to ensure client needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Lead cross-functional teams in delivering exceptional service to clients.
- Mentor and guide junior account managers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Market and Industry Expertise:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights to clients.
- Understand the unique financial challenges and opportunities within the Latinx community to better serve our clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Senior Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or relevant role in the B2B sector.
- Proven experience managing digital media campaigns
- Preferred strong understanding of financial services and/or fintech industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and internal teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Passion for financial inclusion and empowering underserved communities, particularly the Latinx community.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Expert written and verbal communication in English is required.
